The 2008 archery catalog from Cabelas showed up today. Pages and pages to drewl over. Scent Lok has a few new items, as well as scent Blocker. The new dream season pro series is RIDICULOUS!! There is absolutely NO WAY IN HELL I am paying what they want for that suit. Absolutely NOT.

G5 has a lighted nock this year, and yes.............it's blue. And EXPENSIVE!! Why is EVERYTHING G5 makes so pricey? I think this thing has a microchip in it, if I read it correctly. Yeah, they're cool, but not $18 a piece worth of cool. Or $47 for 3.....A 50 dollar bill for 3 nocks???? Are you freaking kidding me?????

I've not seen Slick Tricks in a cabelas catalog before, but they are this year. Shoot, Rage has 1 entire page this year, and they went up 5 bucks as well.

I'm not a Mossy Oak fan at all, but I do like the looks of the new TreeStand pattern. Gonna get me a Scent Lok Full Season suit in that pattern, no question.

I'm still thumbing through it. Anybody else see anything interesting this year?

I wore my Cabela's catalog out by October last year. Looking forward to getting mine. I've got a Lancaster Catalog that I'm flipping through now. It's got a lot more stuff so it takes me a little while longer to get bored with it.

yep got mine over the weekend...friday i think. i too about died at the G5 nocks...

really nothin caught my eye...did notice STs in there as well...oh...as well as some new rear opening broadheads...catalog is at home...think trufire or someone?? and G5 changed the Tekan II i think...? did remember seeing those...

whens the Lancaster catalog come out?? looks like they still have the 07 ones.....do like the other more hunting related gear in cabelas though...i like lancaster more for the bow stuff...

for some odd reason im a hard catalog guy...i gotta look at stuff in the catalogs..then i'll order online lol. they aint dumb either...might cost them decint money to put out and ship catalogs...but they know men and what they do.....my lancaster catalog lived in the bathroom...one day my key board is gunna get ruined from me washin my hands and running to the computer to place an order lol...

The $18 G5 light up nock got me thinking, if you could "pimp" out your arrows, how much would it cost, i.e. $18 nock, $15 BH, etc etc etc.

You should see the new Dream Season Pro Fleece Scentblocker outfit in person..........[:-]Whew is that nice stuff. Zip out full wool jacket liner, windproof ,quiet and all sorts of functional bells and whistlesand like you said the Treestand pattern looks really good on it. Probably the best of the "glam" patterns I've seen to date on a garment.
It was one of the nicest things I messed around with at the ATA show.

I was THIS close to buying that outfit but figured I needed to break the bad mojo after losing my entire Roadtrips fleece outfit last season so i went a different direction this year for camo.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but they usually catalog me to death! I'd like to have what they spend in postage sending out their catalogs in a year.
