I want to see your most unique mount!
 

Come on guys I want to see those unique mounts something different, not just a plain old shoulder mount! Here is mine its a solid 8 point in a glass case with a night light inside!

Here's my most unique mount.

It's a european mount of a buck that I killed a few years ago. When I was cleaning off the skull, I felt a bony abnormality on the right side of the snout above the teeth.

Turns out that he'd been shot through the face, and had been living with a big chunk of bullet stuck in the bone. I pulled the bullet out to clean the area, and glued it back in.

By the amount of scar tissue and the way the bones had healed, the wound appeared to be at least a year old. No visible scarring or markings were visible on the hide. Just a little lump could be felt on the snout, under the skin.

Not visible in the pics, but the bony plate comprising the roof of his mouthwas cracked by the impactand subsequently healed-over.

His sinus cavities were completely decimated, but he appeared outwardly healthy in every possible way, showing no signs of injury or malnutrition.

Tough animals...

This is about as unique as mine get....just a pedestal euro mount. Got the idea from Matt / PA

This isn't the best picture but it gives you an idea! I wasn't sure if I would like the 90degree turn but it Is probably my favorite of my African mounts!

These are my favorite mounts I had this moose hand carved with my dad and I on one side and the three moose we seen when we shot this one

This other moose mount i built a steel pedastal and had my mom paint 3 pictures on it the front one is of me and my dad with this moose after i shot it.
