My Airborne 82nd 60# and 28" draw

CX Maxima weighing 340 grains and traveling 308fps

It is quiet, and very shootable. It just Flat out stacks arrows!

I got out my bow and my stopwatch. Set the bow in the floor and started the stopwatch. It's been dang near 8 hours now, and that cotton-pickin' bow hasn't moved an inch. I guess I'd have to say it's pretty slow.

I have never cronoed anything...all of my bows will knock over hogs and knock down bears...and thats all I really need, I was never concerned if one bow was doing 290fps or 270fps. That's just me though...as long as the bow feels right for me, and it doesn't make alot of noise that is what I am most concerned about. Accuracy /Feel / Speed in that order I guess...

My Vectrix XL 50/60lb 30" maxed at 63lbs sends my 501gr (with 100gr Muzzy) XX75/2314 arrow 250fps (chrono). This gives me 69ft/lbs of KE. WHACK!!

That was funny!

My fastest bow might hit 200 fps.

My bow is . . . well . .. faster than anybody else's.

Is that for real? If it is, you don't need near that much speed. You have be giving something up to get that much speed. Are you sure you aren't shooting a cross bow?
