What do you think about carbon terminator shafts?

In general terms these are satisfactory shafts. I used them for hunting this past season - actually the Terminator Hunters. My justification - I prefer a heavier arrow when shooting at game. At 28" draw length (27,5" arrow) I managed a respectable 261fps from my BK2. The 100 grain Shockwaves did their bit - 3 deer down. Oh yes, full penetration with energy to spare. Just my preference (and 0.02)!

I use the Easton, haven't shot Game Tracker Terminators because I refuse to shoot shafts made in Taiwan, of which the Terminators are.

Why the reluctance to use a product made in Taiwan? I'm not wishing to stir up a hornets nest but are they considered inferior because of materials and/or workmanship? If so, where is that info available? Thanks

I suspect it has more to do w/ where they are made than of what they are made. I could be wrong but, arrows made in the USA would get my nod!! Please don't anyone tell me SME arrows aren't made here.

mlj64, I don't know that they are inferior, its just my personal preference. Now if they were made in Canada I wouldn't hesitate at all.

Thanks CougarMag for the response. I was concerned that there may be some unpublicised defect/deficiency. As in many cases, personal preferences play a role in shaft choices. I have had no bad experiences with these shafts. My criticisms are limited to their relatively rough/coarse finish and their slightly larger OD (compared to my regular Bemans).

Used them to shoot my buck this year. They group well and I switched to them because of the weight. They weigh about the same as ACC 360's, but are very reasonable in price and won't bend like an ACC can. I've shot many deer with either Gold Tips, or Carbon Express shafts, but I like the heavier weight for stability and the wider selection of broadheads you can use with them.

I like my 100% Taiwan slave labor made Carbon Terminators. I like them so much, I was rather miffed when I lost one today when I bumped the damn release with my index finger.
