I,ve just read the story about the 9 year old boy getting shot by his father , while out turkey hunting in Sibley county .
My god that is possibly the worst thing that could happen to a person .
I don't know the circumstances , but my thoughts go out to family for sure .

I'm not for sure but i think the farther shot hitting the boy in the chest, he then called 911 but before the emt arrived i think the boy had past or shortly after they got there because they died at the scens.I think that what the story said but not for sure.I realy don't know how anyone can make that mistake,becaues you should always know what your shooting at before you even raise you gun.I live in dubois county and it's benn some years past but a hunter was shot sitting in the middle of a railraod tracks calling a bird when someone shot him ,now you tell me how thats poissble but it happens .
