Default Got a new bow today-

just got a new Switchback XT today, new in box. 70# limbs, 29 inch draw. Where do I start? I like the trophy hunter fall away, extreme sights, maybe an octane stabilizer, gold tip arrows. What do you guys recommend? My first new bow ever. Been an avid bowhunter for 15 years. Needing some viable input. What about a new release? I have about 400 bucks to dress it out.

I've been challanged...don't laugh fellas she's naked

Congrats on the new bow. I'd check out the AT classified's for the accessories, you'll save alot of $$ vs. paying retail. As far as type of sights, rests, releases, etc., well that's as debatable as what brand of bow to buy. Search around, see what others are using and give those a try.

I hope the bow works well for you. Mathews has a partnership with Carbon Express - I would guess that means they believe in the arrows?

well youmade the most important and best decision already......Mathews! Everything else is gravy! Mine is set up with a Whisker Biscuit rest and older Tru-Glo 5000 sight (older all metal one) and a Mathews 2 piece quiver (hightly recommended and worth every penny). I also made my own STS type string suppressor. You can search for the post, it was pretty easy and cheap to make.

I'm shooting Easton Axis ST 300's out of mine with pretty good results thus far. Congrats on the new bow!!!

Edit: Mine is a 2007Mathews Switchback LD (32in draw)
