My 82nd is almost complete... PICS!!!!
Well guys, after work today I found that my accessories for my BowTech 82nd Airborne were here so of course I had to get cracking on setting it up. I got her set-up, rough tuned it by eye, then took it outside for a few shots! First thing I noticed is that I am going to have to get one big target to handle this puppy. I was sending my arrows straight through my current target and they were burying fletching deep into the dirt. Second thing is I am even more impressed by the lack of noise and handshock/vibration after getting a stabilizer on it. I have to get my peep tied in still and I gotta get her all tuned up (was going to do that tomorrow but my sister is having her baby tomorrow, I still might cut a little time and go to the shop).
Well, here are the pics...
2008 BowTech 82nd Airborne (29"@ 71lbs)
28" Easton Lightspeed 340's with Bohning Blazer vanes and 100 grain tips
Sword Apex Micro 3rd plane sight
Vapor Trail Limb Driver rest
7" Hi-Tex multi-rod stabilizer
Tree Limb 5-arrow quiver
G5 Meta Peep (3/16")
Scott Sabertooth Release
Paradox Braided camo wrist sling
My arrows weigh in at 384 grains and from what I am guessing I should be shooting it right at 329-330f.p.s. If I get to the shop tomorrow I will send her through the chrono to get the actual numbers!
