RE: Turkeys or deer??
I love both of them and when deer season is winding down and it is unbarably cold in the deer stand I can't wait for spring toms. and when turkey hunting I see all of the deer without antlers and try to imagine them in the fall... They are both an obsession.

I enjoy any kind of Bowhunting! I prefer Big Game with a bow (Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail, Bear) but Turkeys are a fun change of pace.

RE: Turkeys or deer??
Well if ya'll would have seen my nerves (shaking) in the blind in NC when I wasn't sure I was going to get a shot or not you'd think it's turkeys. As much as I absolutely love to hunt turkeys, deer slightly edge them out. I enjoy sitting in a treestand more than sitting in a ground blind.
Now if you throw elk into the mix, I think they'd win out. I wish I could hunt elk every year. Bowhunting them in the rut is incredible. |
