One of 2 people trespassing on my leased land turned out to have shot a guy in the bushes when he was 15. It was on his record when the game warden ran his info. I told the game warden that if he returns to my land im pressing charges. Its a shame that people shoot without knowing what they are shooting at!

You mistake your kid for a turkey...maybe he should have never been hunting, I know 100% for sure what I am shooting at, and I am sure that everyone here does also...besides what is your kid doing downrange anyway.

I never understood how these things happen either. Just don't get it.
I was hunting public land the other day and was almost too scared to pull my decoys out the bag.
Hell, I was afraid of getting out the truck.

Whats that got to do with it? It doesn't get dark till 8:15 or so. I don't turkey hunt so I'm not familiar with the laws of turkey hunting. Are the hours restricted?

Its very bright yet at that time. Its not dark till after 8pm here in WI and MN, Wisconsins Turkey closes before 8 (at least for the 3rd season). I think its a half hour before sunset. Or right at roost, which ever comes first.

Guys this is horrible, and we wonder why hunters get a bad rap? I know a boy who was shot by another hunter with a BOW!!!!!!! How in the world do you mistakenly shoot another person with a bow. He was walking out just after dark and caught an arrow in the leg. Still to this day has a limp. Some people should not be allowed to reproduce....Matt
