A lot of the things already mentioned are aplicable to me also..but what governs bowhunting for me is the constant question - am I having fun? It is really the one absolute line I draw. If I am not enjoying it anymore...I take a break. There is no reason not to.

To me, the harder I work for an animal that more I appreciate the hunt. Doesn't matter if I don't kill something. The harder I bust my ass, the happier I am. If I know I pushed myself to my limits both mentally and physically and didn't give up, I'm satisfied.

Being, only, a 2 y.o. bowhunter, I get so damn nervous when I see horn. Still trying to get a bit of control over the buck fever...
