HOAX EMAIL FROM CABELA'S
#1
I want to warn everybody about a dangerous email. It looks like it comes from Cabela's , but it's a trojan named "vondu".
The email asks you to sign up to be a product tester for hunting and fishing equipment.
I fell for it(I'm an idiot)bc it did not ask for any personal info, but it placed a trojan on my computer after I "signed up". Fortuenately I became suspicious and ran a Norton scan and there it was.
Watch out for this email guys. I don't know what it could do if left on your computer, but I didn't want to find out.

Archer becareful it still could be on your computer as norton seems to not find it everywhere.
Tonight I will send you a tool that specifically looks for vundo if you like?
My sister n law got it and she waited so long that it got really messed up.
Even the adware and spyware software couldnt fix it.

I am actually a Cabelas Footwear product tester. Over the years I've gotten close to 10 free pairs of boots. I'll watch for the email, thanks for the heads up.
