Jeff, let me ask you, do you like arrogrant braggards? Or would you rather watch or hang out with a down to earth guy.
BC....this has nothing to do with the question. I'd like him more (which isn't a stretch.....being as where we're starting;)) if he was more down to earth.

Do I have a problem with his statement, though?

Nope.
Sure it does. You only gave people two choices, when both those choices probably only cover 40% of the people. The rest are not offended or threatened, just turned off by the bragging. There is a clear difference.

If I took a 12 year old child out with a 60lb longbow, that he can barely pull back and not proficient at, and he is flinging arrows wildly, your saying you would respect him for it. And thats silly. Sure, he can stand up and say he is doing it the hard way. All I am saying is, bring it, don't say it.

I went over to Matt/PA's house to buy a bow. I never once knew the guy was competitive on a national level. He never told me. All we did was talk about his black widow. Someone else told me, and I was shocked.

I watched a Real tree road trips where Michael Waddell bow was lost on the plane. He picked up the land owners recurve shot some practice with it (good groups) and then killed a deer that night. Something tells me he doesn't practice witha recurve that much he might even have stated that on the show.

I'm going to guess thats more luck then anything Charlie. Thats not to common but I'm sure there are folks out there who can do it.

So if that was luck on Waddels part, what does that say for Tred, Schultzy?

Guess I see things differently. I shoot trad for the overall simplicitly of it, nothing more, nothing less, I enjoy it.
When he says, MY Way... The Barta Way, it makes me laugh, like he has some sort of patent on it or something. Never could figure out how he thinks ridding around on his sorry A$$ in a boat the size of my house eatting Lobster and King Crab looking for a Black Bear on the shoreline is the hard way.

I take the Guy seriously, anyone that takes 10 min out of a half hour long TV show to bash someone elses form of hunting I take Seriously.

Some of us been stalking game and shooting Trad since our youth and never thought of it as the hard way,As a matter of fact it was the only way, And certanly no reason to self inflate our scrotum.

Ted, Tred anda few others, are the hand that feeds the dog that bites me.

Good for you, you don't have a problem with it. So why do you care if other people do, and why are you so determined to make sure everyone knows that you don't?

I gave you the choices of answering yes or no as to whether or not the assertion offended you.....and asked you to leave the man's personality out of the equation. Many have proven they can't do that. That much is clear.

I don't post in the "Say something about the poster above you" threads....by choice....and you certainly don't have to post on the threads I start. If it's OK....I will.
