Default RE: RUBLINE INVESTMENTS

Skeeter,

Yes you answered my question exactly. I find a lot of clustered rubs near food sources. Say 25-100 yards inside the thick timber that leads to say an alfalfa field. I only hunt these areas about the first two weeks of my season. I have had as many as 5 bucks in a bachelor group walk by in the first week of Sept. Once the velvet comes off and the air cools by mid September the bucks here split up and start back to thier loner ways. ( I am referring to mature bucks 3.5 and older) Thats when I move back into the Big forest country near bedding areas and start hunting those SECONDARY browsing areas. By then the Alfalfa is cut and the bucks are in their hide outs preparing for the upcoming rut.

Skeeter thanks again, I appreciate the info.
