I also lean towards both... Like most I love the 'little' things that happen in the outdoors\nature - and bowhunting makes me feel like I'm part of that... But trophy bucks (or whatever) is what drives me to get up morning after morning...

ORIGINAL: oakcreek I would have to chose both as well every time i look at one of my mount on my wall i replay the hunt in my mind not just the kill but everything that happened that day or even days leading up to the day of the kill. Thats why i hunt, memories and something for the wall |

I guess if I had to choose I would go with memories, but isn't putting horns on the wall a part of memorializing the hunt? They're intertwined if you ask me.
