I teach with a lot of guys that don't really have a passion for much of anything in the outdoors. I mean during deer season or turkey or whatever, they are not out doing what Im doing. I wonder often about what they do. I mean this is how I express myself, relieve stress, spend time with GOD, think about my kids and wife, happy thoughts, I crave this stuff. I have to do it, or I will go nuts. I ask these guys about it, they don't even know what Im asking. Most, if not all of them have never hunted and don't want to. They say they read and go grocery shopping on Saturdays or watch football or something else on TV. They have no clue the adventures we have on the weekends and weekday afternoons. How can someone go through life without doing this or having a desire to do it, I willl never get it I guess.

And why does this surprise you? We all know, well we use the figures, that 10 percent hunt, 10 percent are antis and the rest are undecided. That's the way it is, although I think if they redid that poll it might come out lower with the hunter numbers. You say they do nothing and have no life. They say you're obsessed and unreasonable. Actually, there's probably some of both going on. There's really nothing wrong with reading a good book. I suspect it wouldn't hurt you to read one now and then. LOL Don't feel sorry for or pity these guys, they're living life their way. Just because they don't do it your way doesn't mean they're wrong ... for their life. The only thing you should really worry about is being a good image for them to look at so they don't become a part of the 10 percent and growing ANTIS.

Trust me, you'll never completely convince an anti to become or accept hunting. It's much easier to convince an undecided to become an anti through your actions. Learn to work within that world.
