Default Cool Find when shed hunting...

What would be best to use to bleach the skull? Found this when out shed hunting with my nephews. I am gonna make a euro mount out of it and give it to them as gift.

You want to use 40% peroxide no bleach. The peroxide can be purchased in beauty supply stores this is not the stuff from the pharmacy.Bleach will weeken the bone it is a oxidiser and the skull will turn yellow after a few years. After soaking in peroxide until white air dry and spray with someElmers glue and water It will look awesome.

Ditto! I picked up some at Sally's Beauty supply for a few bucks. I spread it over the skull (don't touch the antlers) and let it sit for a couple days. You can also put it out in the sun for a few days to help "bleach" it.
