A new one for me this year. Steeforce Phathead Talon. FEDEX left mine were on the porch this afternoon. A buddy shot one in CA a few days ago with one. He said it flipped over backwards and never moved after that. He said he couldn't get over the wound channel the head made.

Them Phathead look awesome!

Turkeys are amazingly hard to kill sometimes with a body shot. I lost two birds last spring hit pretty well with NAP Spitfires. A buddy of mine said the secret was to keep the head in the bird - either by shooting a 40 lb bow or by using some sort of penetration control device. For me, the latter worked well. I used the ASP washer between a 75 Muzzy and the insert. The Grasshopper washer also works well. Very difficult for the bird to run or fly with a broadhead stuck in him.
Roskoe: When you lost those birds, did the Spitfires passthru or did the blades fold up and the arrow fall out of the bird? Just wondering since I'm using Spitfires. I just thought since I'm using only 50lbs that penetration would be limited.
