Glad everything is turning out okay for all of you Greg. Hopefully the Gf is okay also after you get the tests back. Tell your son to get off that bike and get in that nice Chevelle sitting in the back of the garage. Ive got a nice twin turbosmall blockthat would make him forget all about that bke [8D]

4-Mile and Hwy 31. About 60 seconds from his house. He was going to his friends house. His friend was right behind him in his mom's car and saw it happen. Thank goodness his friend was there. My son was knocked out for about 15 seconds, when he came to he didn't know where he was. He thought he was home in bed. Then he started to struggle and tried to get up but his friend sat on his chest and held him down until the ambulance arrived. I'm glad his friend was there.

That is a nice Chevelle, an LS-6 454!!! The guys garage is full of them including a nice caged and blown '70 Cutlass, tubbed too!

Kind of funny, the night before, he brought over the DVD of the TV series "It's always sunny in Philadelphia". After watching the episode on getting chicks by playing the sympathy card, he suggested (from his hospital bed) going to the strip club with his neck brace on!!

His mother didn't get it! [:-]

Life sure throws some crap at us at times, but all at once like happened to you, son, and gf is downright mean. Hope you and your loved ones all come out of this with the best positive results. Like you I need to quit smoking, been saying that for the last 10 years now:(.

Your having some tough times and I feel for you it will get better ,don't be to hard on your son, I've done the bareassed gravel roadslide twice myself.It hurts for awhile but so do allot of things in life.
Just remember anything in lifethat doesn't kill you just makes ya that much tougher.

Everyone is in much better spirits, especially my son. He actually tried that TV stunt of playing the sympathy card with his neck brace on at a party, Friday night. Told me he was making out with two chicks at once, it was crazy (his exact words)! Why didn't I ever think of that!!??
