If you could only bowhunt one animal for the rest of your life (I know it will prob never happen, but come on...;)) what would you hunt, and why?

The physical demand is too great to say elk -although this is my passion. I do not see myself capable of hunting these beast when I'm 75. So....with a bow, it will be whitetail.

without a bow....beaver.:D

Pigs

A day without pork is like a day without sunshine.

Pork is my favorite vegetable.

Grizzly bears....That way I can just get it all over in one season....LOL

Seriously I love chasing whitetails. But if I lived in AK I'm sure it would be moose or carbou.

Whitetails.I love to hunt them and they provide plenty of meat for me and the family.

RE: Where is your passion?

Whitetails hands down. But then again, that is the only thing I have hnted with a bow. But there is just something about a whitetail that gets my blood boiling. They have got to be the most awesome animal in the world.

Black Bear without a dought! Elk and Whitetails fighting for that 2nd spot.

RE: Where is your passion?

Elk, no doubt about it! The bugling, the western country, for me, by far over anything else.

RE: Where is your passion?

Elk until I couldn't do it anymore, then I don't know. Mule deer are a neater deer to me than whitetails.

Edit: Honestly, my passion is hunting things I have never hunted before. Having to choose one would be very difficult and almost defeating to me.

RE: Where is your passion?

Elk. Easy pick. Cause I would most certianly move out west, and then I could do some AWESOME fishing in the off season:)

Mule Deer.

Followed closely by turkey.

RE: Where is your passion?

For me, It is a HUGE toss up between black bear, and Turkey.

Turkey edges out a win, hardly. It was a good fight.

I love hunting in the spring, and nothing gets me going like a shock gobble when the sun is just coming over the trees on a cool april morning, NOTHING.

Fish. Yep...that's right. Why? Bowfish and shoot one of these and you'll know what I mean.

Mt. Goats. They're just simply awesome, and so is the country they live in. Whitetails are plain boring in comparison.

What a picture! Is that you Kodiak?

That is really one of the best pictures I have ever seen. I didn't even notice the hunter at first.

Kodiak, that is one AMAZING photo! Really unique(sp). Those goats are truely in a class of their own, not to mention theterrian they live in. But whitetails are my passion, more doable.;)

Well for me it would be Whitetail since I wouldn't have any other options around here;)

Even if I did,,,whitetails would still win.
