RE: Sound hunting strategies?
I do not take a lot of extras into the woods - most important thing to watch is the wind and I also like to hunt high- very very few products I believe in and the only one that I feel I need to take is deer dander by fitzgerald
I am a firm believer in sound hunting strategies- watching the wind, entry/exit routes, hunt high as possible considering foliage, don't use a lot of gimmicks |

RE: Sound hunting strategies?
Woodsmanship kills more deer than any product or gadget ever will.

RE: Sound hunting strategies?
woodsmanship cannot be replaced by a tool if the name of the game is getting close.

RE: Sound hunting strategies?
I wouldn't like to hunt half as much as I do now if I relied so heavily on an inanimate object to kill a deer....I love to use my brain, hunting is very magical to me. If someone gave me an instrument that sees all the bucks in the woods every time I hunted, I wouldn't use it(ok maybe once :) )...but you get my point.

Strategy is the clear winner. All of the gadgets in the world won't help you kill a deer, unless you pay to have one put in front of you.

RE: Sound hunting strategies?
The only gadget that has helped me kill a deer isa grunt call. Brings bucks in sight but out of range, into range. I'd rather put myself in the right spot, than rely on a "gadget" to get a deer.
