She arrived on my door today.

Your basic Ally here. #70, 29" DL, smooth mods.
Smooth is perfectly named. Very easy draw cycle, consistant until it snaps & solid wall.
DEAD in the hand at the shot. Very shock free. It is a bit twangy though. Maybe I expected too much, but also, I was only shooting as pictured. No STS, no stabilizer.
At 20 yds, I couldn't really appreciate the jump in speed compared to what I am used to. I stepped back to 35 yds and promptly zipped my first arrow 6" over the target. This was a BIG jump from what I am used to. I haven't run her thru the chrony yet, but she's smokin'. I shoot a 450 gr arrow too. All in all I am VERY pleased. I can see why the hype.

And just cause I thought it would be neat, here's a pic of technology meets traditional.

Disclaimer-Take my review for what it is. And average guy talking about his bow the 1st time he shoots it. I am no techie guru, nor do I shoot every new bow that comes out. BUT, I have been shooting bows enough to know what I like.

Very nice Ryan...

Do you have any plans for accessories for it or are you just switching them over from the Martin?

Probably just going to swap over. I got some brighter FO for my sight, so that helped. I MIGHT put on a biscuit...SHHHHH[:-]But I haven't decided.

Ryan, your going to even be more pleased when you get her all set up. If I may, you'll be doing yourself a great justice if you add a MeanV to her. I couldn't believe the difference in my 06 Ally but I was being spoiled shooting the General and Guardian.

Great bow, you should get years of satisfaction from her. And a 450 grain arrow I wouldn't doubt you see at least 290fps and talk about KE...wow.

Congrats bro, I was glad to hear good from you.....I have a commander on the way, I am pretty stoked too, it has been a long 5 years since I got a new bow and that was just new version of my old bow. I have been shooting Darton's for 10-11 years now....I too will be expecting good things from the commander after seeing all the reviews on here....Good luck this season w/ the new bow...
