its not aluminium is a flexible shaft so i thinks its pretty good

I had a slightly bent aluminum arrow one time so I took out the insert and stuck it on my antenna...looked just like that

I shoulda went to the patent office

I actually saw one or a self made and thought about sorting through my arrows to do the same as long as it doesn't interfer with reception.
