The old buck has been the hardest to harvest for me!!! It seems like the old buck has that Sixth sense kick in whenwver he is close!!

Mature buck is harder. I've killed 12 Toms in 1/3 time it took me to get that many bucks.

Mature buck much harder and much more rewarding for me.I would venture to say if most turkey hunters put the same time and effort in to their turkey hunting as they did their deer hunting they would limit out every year on turkeys and have some old birds in the mix.

I have not hunted Turkey enough but I can tell you mature buck in my mind.
Ask me again in 10-15 years. (Probably same answer but who knows)
2nd I would put the muskie as my nemesis.[:@]

I want to say mature buck, but how old a turkey we talking? I'd say I see more 3.5+ bucks than I see HUGE old boss gobblers. I don't know?

Mature bucks are hard to come by where i hunt. Usually a 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 year old deer are about as old as you can get.

But I can tell you bloodcreek did not educate them, he is barely smarter than a chicken.

ORIGINAL: Germ

It depends on to many varibles.

Most of all hunting pressure, being more deer hunters, I would go with mature buck.

But if you hunt where Bloodcreek drives to work, then every bird will be educated as Dancalls to them driving down the road

I would say a mature buck by far. Those big toms are fun to hunt and get my blood pumping but mature bucks are a tough animal to kill.
