I was definetly born to hunt but this man made sureI claimed by birth right. My grandfather is cooking bacon for breakfast on a muzzle loader hunt. I am in the middle with my younger rother on my left and cousin on my right. This picture was taken about 23 years ago. I was about 11 years old here.

I remember my first animal I killed. I was 7 years old and shot a squirrel with my BB gun. Since that day I knew I had a passion for being in the outdoors. Hell, to this day I have squirrel in my freezer. I love to fry some up with my eggs in the morning! I thought at one point in my life I would become a fishing captain/guide. I literally fished every day on the Gulf of Mexico whether on my boat or off the shore for 20 years.
Then I bought a home with some acreage in the country and have the same passion for hunting. I believe its the outdoorsman gene. I can go into the woods and stay for days if needed. Just give me a knife, a good pair of boots, and a weapon and I could survive on everything that momma nature gave us!

pretty much all the above for me.
dad got me into the outdoors at a super young age fishing, taking me on walks in the woods showing my game, game sign, letting me chase worms and snakes and bugs and all the stuff a little boy loves, shooting, tagging along on squirrel and groundhog hunts etc...then at 12 all i wanted to do was hunt with dad.
now im 21...i love the outdoors more than anything. theres nowhere else i rather be..if im not hunting, im fishng, or scouting if i can be...just what i know and love....

I didn't even know what hunting was until my mom remarried, I was 9. Step dad introduced me to it, squirrels, rabbits, quail and eventually turkey. The one thing I've never done w/ him is deer hunt. He bought me my first bow, so he introduced me to archery.

my father introduced me to hunting when I was a little boy... It has been an obsession since. My father was never a very succesful hunter, but his intentions were great. Now that he is older no longer can physically hunt, he loves hunting through our experiences and stories.
