I can get a 6 pack of Magnus Snuffers for 23.00 bucks. Not bad if you ask me and I can reuse them over and over most the time! The Snuffers have actually went down in price from what they use to be at.

$40 for 3 broadheads is outrageous. I don't care how much steel and aluminum have gone up. With the small amout of material they use it does not justify a $10 (33%) price jump from the previous year. Someone is being greedy. I don't know if it's Basspro or Rage, but that's just not right.
They sold for $34.99 last year at BPS... if you could find them in stock. I'm sure that you could find a lower price somewhere last fall, but they were in very high demand and rather hard to come by at any price. There were a few people who took advantage of that and really cleaned up on the desparate souls who think a 2" diameter hole will fix a badly placed arrow from an out of tune bow fired from a shaky hand. I saw some selling in classifieds for as much as $50 a pack, and they were rolling.

I think that honestly has a lot to with the demand - is the fact they do wreck havoc on a deer - posting pics of the damage _ i have seen photos on several forums - and the demand skyrocketed -

I personally used them on the East Coast of NC - where I wanted the deer down quick - some nasty cutovers and the place is full of bears - Had a buddies deer being drug by a bear and also had one of mine mangled a few years back - Once I used them on the east coast tried G5 strikers - another good head but almost as pricey - I am not sure what I will try this year but have used thunderheads, muzzy, rocket sidewinders, rocky mtn gators, Rage, spitfires and a few others - I factor in the area and conditions for tracking when deciding - right now the RM Gators are looking to be my choice
