Video of Big 8.
 

I'm starting to get this video thing figured out. I hope you guys are ready, I have probably 10 years of video footage...LOL

We'll start with this one.

This was a big 8 I had come out in the field from a bedding area to the right. I was out there in my treestand weaponless as it was the first day of rifle and I was tagged out. To my left in a shed/ground blind was the land owner. I try to take him out every year. He didn't see this buck from his ground spot so I got him to get out and stalk him. He threw his rifle up twice on it but never fired. When he came back I asked him if he saw it and he said yes but the shot wasn't clear and I shook his hand saying most would have slung lead. It would have been his best buck.

Hope this works, what do you think of him, and another what would he score?

FYI, I'm sitting in my honey hole stand. I never saw this buck in archery season. (two seasons ago).

He's 20" wide, good mass, not super long tines though?..........I bet he's mid 130's anyway?

You gonna post the big "Hollow Buck" for everyone to see?
I want another look at that one. The scores should be interesting to hear.

Heh......there aren't any big deer in PA. That footage must be from Illinois or Iowa.

Very nice buck. As far as score, he has got the spread but he doesn't appear to have really long tines. Judging for what I can see on the video, I would guess him in the 118"-122" range. Great buck, very odd to see a mature buck feeding in a field during daylight here in PA on the first day of rifle season.

Matt as soon as I figure out how to retrieve that one off that camera and onto my puter I will. I was able to take this one off my new miniDV Canon GL2. I'm not sure how to get them off my Sony.....I think I need a software thing. I'm still trying and as soon as I do, I'll post it, along with tons more...LOL He's ( the hollow 8 point) a world class 8 point.
