Accomplish before your bow hunting career ends?

Yes it has to happen someday. Mine would be to create many more friendships and memories.
By the time it ends though my memory could be shot.
Make damn sure my 2 sons have a great timeenjoying thewonderful outdoors!

I'm still working on one of my lifelong dreams, and that is to shoot a P&Y caliber buck here in PA. However, with the properties I have, and the steps PA has taken to bolster management it is now much more of a reality than a dream. Now it's just a matter of me putting all the pieces together and making it happen.
I've also added taking a longbeard with my bow as a goal. And of course I will always have the goal of sharing my love for the outdoors and hunting with as many people as I can. Nothing like seeing that smile on someone's face when they catch their first fish, or make their first kill, or see their first deer in the wild up close. That is a high that no drug can duplicate.

Very worthy goal Tony.
That too minus the kids thing...lol I have none, I'm having none.
So, the reality of it never happening however, I'd love to take one of every North American big game species. Do I have time? Hell I don't know, it's more the funds than the years...LOL In years coming I might be begging for HNI members to help me out. [8D]
Deer, check
bear, check
Elk, check
turkey, check
coyote, check
Pronghorn in 09, hopefully check
Mulie
Moose
Caribou
one of them will be next.

I'd like to:
1. Take a Pronhorn
2. Take a bear
3. Take an elk (maybe)
4. Take a coyote
5. Continue to take good representative bucks for the land I hunt
6. Take a mature turkey with my bow
I'm sure I'll add to this list.....but I've only been bowhunting for 2+ seasons. I'm still learning what makes me tick.
