Idrive aDodge 1500 with the Hemi. I am surprised at the lack of Dodges in the poll.In my 52 mile a day round tripdrive to and from work I see more Dodges than anything. Maybe it's a local thing. I've had Ford F150's also. Good trucks.
NCRemington, nice picture. I ran the beaches at Hatteras three weeks a year for ten years. The last time was in 93. I'd like to get started again.

CCP- I love going to the Outer Banks. We usually go around Oregon Inlet or in the Avon area. It's beautiful to say the least.

Chevy all day the new ones get awesome mpg. That what I will get when I buy a new one I have bet the hell out of my 2000 blazer I pull a boat drive back and forth to the deer stand and do all kinds of crazy things with it. Just beat on it but yet all I do is the maintenance on it it shes good. Highway no boat 24mpg intown 16 pulling a boat it drinks gas at highway 15.72 cruise set at 80 if i do 67 she will get 18.62 on the highway but I like to have more time on the lake. Know my wifes care is a 2000 has 112K on it and still gets 39-42 on the highway both paid for and I will not get new car or truck until there beat in the dirt or if she get pregnant then She will get a new ride just for the fact my kids going to ride in style. Thinkin about the new malibus wife loves the new look.
Some pretty impressive numbers, heck I've got a buddy with a GEO Metro that can't pull down 40MPG!!!! A Blazer getting 24mpg??? Real impressive, the one I had only got about 17-19 depending on how I drove it!!!

NCR, We we always stayed at Hodges in Buxton. It was behind and across from the RED DRUM.My wife said that she would also like to start going again. How bad has it built up over the last 15 years. I loved the fact that there was nothing to do but fish down there thus not many tourist. We hit it mostly in October and November. We even spent our Honeymoon there so as not to miss the annually trip. My wife stopped going after the first couple of years. It may have something to do me fishing 16 or 18 hours a day.
