a robbin hood. pleez.. its called a waste of $10, i did 2 in 2 weeks. freaggin piss me off
from now on i will not shoot more than 2 arrows per target, i will use those 3 target targets with the 3 circles. this way the chances of that happeneing again are very slim, even though the second time i pulled a "robbin hood" it was with only one arrow shot previously. anyway mythbusters rocks!

the myth was actually to see if an arrow can splint the other arrow completly down the shaft !!! not just to robin hood like we call it

What we refer to a Robin Hood arrow is one hollow shaft splitting another hollow shaft . Once the 2nd shaft enters the 1st it follows the hollow tubing or the path of least resistance . I had my 1st Robin Hood last summer at 20 yards . In the past two months , I have had 2 more shooting from 11 yards in the basement .

Number one, a true robin hood is with wood shafts, just modern archers morphed it into hollow shafts. I think everyone of us here could post apict of one hollow shaft going into anotherif you have been shooting more than a year or two.. But not sure any of us could post a "robin hood" of a wood shaft being split from nock to point.

Even with the straightest grain arrows , it didn't happen .
Just wondering if you discredit Howard Hill making the shot in Robinhood? Acrording to him, this was not his most difficult shot.
