I just heard that Ross has been bought out by Bowtech? With all the bowtechies here on hunting net can anyone give some truth to this rumor?

Haven't heard that specifically, but I have heard that Ross is for sale. All second hand, none verified.

This may come as a bombshell, but there's no need for it to feel that way.......I have read this rumor being mentioned a couple times today andhave seen itbeen beat down as just a rumor. Rather than misinformation being thrown around and rumor running rampant it's a better idea to bring some facts into the open.

I can say officially that yes this "rumor" is true. I cannot get into the juicy details of hows and whys and whens, the direction of this move and it's details will be released as needed, but for now we might as well say that yes it is true if for no other reason than to prevent BAD information.
This is a positive move for Bowtech, ROSS and the archery industry as a whole, and as the details of the move emerge and the direction of the line is establishedthat will become clear.

Happened back around October of last year.


The Ross deal shocks me...Wonder if bowtech will stick with the similar design or revamp them into speed demons similar to bowtechs existing line...

I heard first thing this moring when I got to work. I have a good friend high up in corporate management who worksin Sportsmans Warehouse in SLC Utah. He gave me a call today at my shop, and broke the news to me. I was sure he was correct but its not something I would want to bet my life on. Or go on here and start saying that I knew bowtech bought out Ross. That could have looked bad for me. lol
