Im just curious what guys think the future hold for the deer hunter. I see alot less land to hunt on now and deer migratory pattern changes. For instance deer in the southern states seem to be slowly progressing northward to accommadate more comfortable temps and avoiding rigorous hot temps of the south. I not sure what the future holds. Whats your opinion?

I think the population will be just fine in the southern states because of the warm weather and piece of cake winters. A nasty snow filled winter could wipe out a deer herd in no time in the Northern states. Its all up to mother nature for the most part, if she wants she'll wipe out anything in her path in a number of different ways.

My gut tells me we're in trouble with all the growth....However....The whitetails adapt to us very well...

I saw a 170 class near down town Detroit in the booming metropolis....Whitetails are amazing creatures. I don't think we will ever push them out. We'll just be staring at more homes when we draw our bows...

As much as it has changed in the last 20, I think I'll just worry about next year.

I hate to guess what it will be like in the next 20.[&:] But it won't be cheap, that's for sure.
