Although it'svery hard to stay calm when someone tells you there's something wrong with you. It is a pretty common thing to hear. I was told I had it also 2 years ago. You'll have to be scoped atleast once a year, but it isn't that bad. Doctors can be a little harsh with their comments at times. They make things seem like the end of the world. Just remember they see this kind of thing daily so to them it is routine and they don't always word things just right.
I'm not saying it isn't a big deal, but you'll be fine. I'll bet you have to take Nexium now don't you? Most likely for many years.I'll say a prayer for you anyway, but the next time he looks at your condition I'll bet he tells you it's doing well.
But like you said.....Everyone with Heartburn more than a few times a month should see their doctor.

I sincerely hope everything turns out okay for you. I'm sure it will. My doctor caught my problem a few years ago and I've been on Nexium for a long time. Totally gets rid of the heartburn/reflux. Wasn't nearly enough to make me shoot a Rage, though.
