Wouldn't BH threads be more interesting....?

Wouldn't it be more interesting.....if you had to have first hand experience with not only the one you were touting....but ALSO the one you were talking DOWN?

;)

what else would we have to argue about???[8D]:D

I agree GMMAT.... i hate it when people down talk or talk good about stuff when they are only listening to what other people have sain or what they have heard. But i have to admit that i am guilty of it....

Jeff,
Don't you think that would take a lot of the entertainment out of it?:D J/K. I agree with you. That's why you won't hear me say anything negative about much of anything. All I know is what I've actually tried, and that ain't that much. BUT... what I know, I know.[8D]

Everyone is ENTITLED to an opinion, at least to why they dont believe in something!

Spouting off about things one has no first hand knowledge of is surely not limited to BH threads.

And about the location statement.........I don't need to go to Mexico to know there are Mexicans, there.;)

"more interesting" if the Broadhead was used by the person touting them more than one season. Sorry Jeff, but if I buy a new bow for example on someones recommendation, and I kill 10 deer with that bow in one season, it does not make that bow/broadhead "the bomb". Now, if it is used for 5 years and no failures, I would endorse it promptly.

Honestly, if Jeff decides to whack 10+ deer in 08, I may send him a 3 pack of BH's to test. Lord knows I wouldn't use that many in one season.:D

LT.....honestly....ifsomeone killed 10 deer in 5 seasons or one.....there's still 10 deer dead and the same amount of equipment is used. You lost me on this one.

RE: Wouldn't BH threads be more interesting....?

amount of equipment
It's not the amount of equipment that was used, but how many, if any, failures that were encountered during the time frame. Dead deer is dead deer. I agree. An equipment failure is also an equipment failure. Not saying your broadheads failed, but that they were only used for one season.

Serious question Jeff;

Dan I think it has merit. I posted a while back....asking what percentage of BH's we thought actually saw the insides of an animal. We get people denouncing BH's all the time.....adamantly....and if the truth be known....they've probably never used the head they're talking down.

Just thought it would be interesting if people had first hand knowedge of a product they were a detractor of.

It's one thing to talk up a product you feel strongly about and have personal knowledge and experience with. It's another to denounce one you've never even touched......much less used.

Still trying to understand this, LT......same amount of arrows.....same equipment.....same amount of everything......except years.

Damn work. I have to be able to connect. I have RR and a wireless card. Progress:eek:. Why is that important???:D

Jeff ...if a guy is not comfortable with the broadheads YOU use because he likes a fix blade head ....... that's HIS choice and opinion ...... it's like you and the whisker bisquit .....

LouisianaTomkat 03-19-2008 07:22 PM

RE: Wouldn't BH threads be more interesting....?

OK, read slow:D

If I (analogy) go buy x car because I drove one for about four months and had very little if any failures with said car, should Joe Blow go and buy this car and expect to never have it fail him. I know, I know, every car/broadhead can fail. That is not the issue here. The issue is, "how much experience does it take" with a said piece of equip/broadhead, before we are entitled to say they are the best, great, excellent, ect.

Tony you missed the WHOLE point....trying to make this about me. It's not.

I don't CARE what anyone uses. I'll give you a testimonial if I've used a product....but I sure as hell am not gonna denounce a product I've never used......to make the item I DO use seem "better".

OK LT,,,,,,,I'll type slow.

We'll use your car....if that helps.

Man drives 100,000 miles in 5 years. Car performs flawlessly.

Man drives 100,000 miles in one year. Car performs flawlessly.

What's the difference?
