Not to start another pissen match but with the shear number of people saying that thats a good shot,I now understand why so many of youask why you can't find your deer after making good shots.
Robs post comes to mind.[:-]
At best that shot is borderline,as an arm chair quarterbackit should be six inches forward.I'm sure it got both lungs butI would never recommend that shot placement.
The results speak for them selves,dead deer.Good shot.
Not where you want to aim,reduce the range,and increase the lead.When the leg goes forward,take the shot.

Can't argue with any shot resulting in taking out the heart.

From a tree stand that is about as good as it gets. Could be alittle better but the deer could move just a little an shot would have been better or worse. GOOD ENOUGH.

I've made far worse shots and downed deer... I admit it, and I think I'm a pretty ethical guy... If you find a decent spot you can concentrate on and kill ethically.... more power to ya.
