Would you consider it overkill?

Any part of your bowhunting rig (from release to the other end of the arrow) that you would consider overkill? If so, why?

I'd probably have to say my rest, the MZE. Seems a little over kill to me. Funny thing though, I'm switching to the Limbdriver.:D

I can not think of anything that would be overkill.

Do you ever shoot on a hill? I never used my level much until I shot on a side sloping hill...couldn't figure out why I was low and left....my buddy asked if i was watching my level...I did and well you guessed it....dead on.

Wouldn't overkill be MUCH better than underkill?

My point is, it shouldn't be considered OVERKILL if it is helping to down game more quickly. Sure you could cleanly down game with less, but everything extra has to help...not hurt.

I kind of have the feeling you are relating this to the Rage thread....

To answer your question though, sure I could kill deer with less, but I'm using what I'm using because I think it gives me more of an advantage and I'm comfortable with it.

Overkill as far as lethality...no.

Overkill as far as technical gadgets that increase accuracy, reduce noise, increase speed, etc.....maybe.

In no way related. Sorry if it seemed that way.

This is more what I was referring to.
