hey all
been a while since I posted so figured Id catch up and show yall what Ive been working on
finished this one up bit ago, still have several on the bench waiting for fittings sheaths and whatnot


still needs some 600 grit and 1200 grit sanding and I need to touch up the edge with a stone
overall length is 9 1/4 inch with blade length at 4 1/2 inch
blade is made from 1095 steel, the guard and pommel are from that wrought Iron barstock
handle is burled cherry, naval bronze, and elk.
pinned with brass and a set of lozenge shaped bronze plates
sheath is hand stitched vegtan

Jim came by just a bit ago to pick it up for his shop
(fella that displays my work on consignment) but I reckon it'll be there a while since I dont usually get any sales till tourist season lol.
*shrugs* gives me a chance to stockpile ... literally
finished forging a bollock dagger and a beldeque today, going to be pounding the shinola outta some 3/4 in barstock tommorow for fittings (ugh)

the shape of the blade gives it that pioneer look and the sheath rocks. its beautiful, nice craftsman ship
