Teejay....I asked the question.....because I thought I knew the answer, too.......until I read the article I posted the link to.

Everybody comes on here.....and says the article is junk. I still don't know who to believe.
Yes....I shoot a longbow...and I know the arrows "I" fletch spin (hard right helical). The article said straight fletch DOESN'T......and obviously I guess we have people here who know more than the author.

Also....it's the first time I've ever posted anything about arrow spin or fletchings....

And this is real classy, Don....

Heck yea they do .... with a helical offset like this these arrows spin like a drill ...

If you have a good video camera you can see it very clearly.It is pretty cool to see the rate of spin for yourself. I am not sure about the straight fletch butI have seen the helical spin in my videos. I have some straight fletch feathered ACCs, next time I shoot I will check to see if they spin.
