I've hunted Elk, Mule Deer andWhitetails.
40doesn't fall until 2009, I would really love to do a Dall sheep hunt but I think there is a waiting period ( for tags or Outfitters)
No legal waiting period in AK for Dall's tags. The only hold up would be if the guide you're using happens to be booked (and you do have to use a guide to hunt sheep, goats or brown bear in AK for nonresidents). Contact Tony Russ (current archery Dall's world record holder), he'll get you lined out. http://www.tonyruss.com/

If I had my choice I'd hunt mountain goats.

130, I will be 40 in 09 too.. ;)can I go Dall Sheep hunting with you! :D

I picked Moose in AK for you off of your list.. have fun what ever you decide..

I'm going to bump this, because I just read it again.

A good outfitter will move you to a different LOCATION([:-]) if there are no 'bou in the area. They will fly you to another base camp where the migration is in swing.

I've been fortunate to have Elk, Various Deer, Caribou, Black Bears & more BUT never made the Moose. Now in my later yearsI wish I had went on a Newfoundland Moose & Caribou combo. Good luck in your decision.
