Bow Prices
#2
The Avenger is the only '08 model, and I believe it goes for around 7 bills.........I'm shooting off memory here, which isn't always accurate, but I THINK we sell them for $649....
The Trkon is an '06 model, and new they went for $749 I believe. I wouldn't pay much more than $450 bare bow now, depending on how used it is......
The Vectrix is a '07 model, it went for $700. I wouldn't pay more than 550 or 600 bare bow now, depending on how used it is. The Vectrix Plus, however, is an '08 model, and sells for $749.
The Vulcan is also an '07 model, and I really don't remember what it sold for.
Of the 4 listed, if I had to pick, I would take the Vectrix. Depending on cash flow and all that stuff. The Avenger, however, is the sleeper in the Hoyt line-up. They are just fantastic shooting bows, and pretty fast. I think they IBO at.....309 or something.....Can't remember. The Vectrix is basically a Trykon with better cams and a string supressor, but that's not to say that the Trykon is a bad bow. It's a good shooter, but the Vectrix is smoother, quieter, and faster.
The Vulcan is basically a Vectrix w/ a 6" brace height. It's also a fine shooting bow, I just like the longer brace of the Vectrix personally.
