I entered a "heaviest doe" contest at Gander Mountain afew years ago... and I shot a real whopper doe. Evenafter I got done stuffing both hind quarters with about a few handfuls of lead weights and injecting thefront shoulders and tenderloinswith my marinade injector (adding a little water weight) - I could still only get that sucker up to 137# field dressed. I won though.
That was a joke. Well... at least the part about the marinade injector

I bet those were some JUICY front shoulders. Next time you do that invite me over I want to try them!

It's certainly possible, not very common but certainly possible. There was a 180-something that was tagged in at my local shop a couple years ago, and the biggest bodied deer I ever killed was a doe. I never got a chance to put her on a scale, but she was bigger than my buck 2 yrs ago, and he went 220. Took every little bit of me to drag him out, too!!!!
