Default Pa deer hunters petition

http://www.petitiononline.com/nodoe/petition.html

Seems a lot of hunters there think the herd has taken a serious hit and want something done. here's there solution.

Saw the info posted on another Pa. site and the list was very long with all I saw signing it.

Is there anything any more useless than an online petition? Seriously.

Another useless money waster thought up by Crazy Jim Slinsky and the nut jobs that belong to the Unified Sportsmen of PA.
So when are they gonna pay back the money they wasted with that retarded lawsuit that was laughed out of court. Thanks for wasting my tax dollars Unified Sportsmen.[:@]

Yes and there is no scientfic merit to their claim. Unless you count, "I did not see any deer theory" They did the same thing in MI. Most want over population deer herdto make up for their poor hunting skills, There I type it.

If they want to see a slaughter, come hunt MI 452 zone(TB). We hammered those deer[8D]

You don't think the same dollars wouldn't have been wasted anyways. How about that turnpike?

There's no reason to call people names, if the "scientific proof" is so strong it requires no hostility on the part of the one who holds it.

What was the courts decision? I'd like to read it.

Let me say right off, I don't even have a desire to hunt your state so I have no dog in this fight other than to prove or disprove the "science". I can take it anyway it is.

I don't think 2,600 hunters out of over 500,000 in the state is very many. I think its proving exactly the opposite.

nodog what scientific data do yo think they have for their claim?

Big deal here in the NLP where we reduce the herd was complaining about not seeing any deer. You go look at the habitat, and it stinks for deer. Now that they are not over populated the deerhave moved out of areas that stinks for deer habitat.

Ohio has not had to face this yet, states like MI, PA, and NY have. After the herd gets reduce and deer are no longer in an area they would have never been in the first place, hunters whine. Yes they are whinig

I'd bet the farm 9 of 10 complainers in PA about not seeing deer have land with lousy deer habitat. Plain and simple the deer have moved out

The guy in MI who whined had 20 acres of white pines and sand

Nodog, you have to understand that the Unified Sportsmen of Pennsylvania are a group that have fought against every act that the PA Game Commission has proposed to improve the deer herd. Anything that doesn't involve an overpopulation of deer so that they can see 30-40 deer every time they hunt is a bad thing in their eyes. They have no interest in QDM or improving the age structure, buck to doe ratio, or carrying capacity of the land. They only care about seeing deer and cry and raise a fuss when they don't.

It's very frustrating dealing with these guys and when an online petition like this comes up it stinks of their work. PA Hardwoods is right, they have wasted precious dollars that could have been used elsewhere. This state has one of the highest populations of hunters in the country and the PGC operates on one of the lowest budgets, explain how that make sense. So anything that wastes money has a big impact. I'll ignore your Turnpike comment because the Turnpike has nothing to do with PGC dollars.

Thanks for posting up the petition for us, it is appreciated that you bring it to our attention, but given the subject matter, I'll respectfully decline to sign it.
