and how many years have you hunted?

I have been bow hunting for 30 years and just started on my 3rd bow. If I keep up this pace I will be due for a new one in about 2023 lol

I've been shooting for 12 years (started with the recurve.) I've been hunting with a compound for five. I've owned four bows.

Three compounds;
Martin Jaguar
Bowtech Allegiance
Hoyt Trykon

One recurve;
Ben Pearson Collegian

If you add my recurves, osage sticks,longbows & compounds ------( I have owned & killed with 8 different bows) I am 33 years old and have hunted for 21 years.

I have been Bowhunting for 5 years and have owned 4 compounds First was a Golden Eagle Sparrow Hawk(still own it), then i got a Fred Bear Vapor 300 (wish i wouldnt have sold that one that bow just fit me, shot that one the best), i have a finger bow its an OLD PSE Laser 2. I am currently shooting a Reflex Buckskin. I own two recurves a Browning Wasp 40#@28" and a Ben Pearson Colligate 30#@28". Not real bad for 5 years!!!:D

I've been bowhunting since the age of 12, so that makes........this my 24th season.

I've owned something like 40 compounds now counting the 25 Bowtechs and DiamondsI've owned since 2000.
Since I've also branched into Traditional archery I have owned 2 longbows and 5 recurves as well.

(Don't forget that a good number of the Bowtech's are competition bows as well)

2 Compounds for me. My first one was a used Martin I bought about 12 yeas ago. Only shot 3D for the first couple of years, then stopped shooting for a few years. Then I started hunting, and hunted for a couple of yeas with that old bow, then sold that one, and bought a PSE Fireflight. Been hunting with that for about 5 years. I am hoping to save up the cash to buy a new bow next winter.

Got a 07 Vectrix in December of 2006. Should be shooting this one for a while now.

I started shooting compounds in 1973 and shot a lot of competition through 1979, then took time off for the family till 1989. Started again and have kept up with 3D and hunting. During that time I've had 27 bows. 18 of them in the last 15 years. In fact, I just unboxed and set up my new Martin FireCat, #27,this afternoon.

I've had a handful of bows, now that I think of it...I started out with a Bear Whitetail II, then had another Bear Blacktail (I think, can't remember for sure on this one), traded it off for an OLD Pearson that I NEVER did figure out how to shoot, then traded it on a Browning X-Cellerator Plus, moved on to a Reflex Bighorn Hunter around the "turn of the millenium," then a my Reflex Highlander followed in spring 2006, after that I bought my Trykon XL this past fall, and then lurking on classifieds, I ended up picking up an old Hoyt Stryker as a bow I intend on teaching my cousin how to shoot. But it may end up being a "spot's" bow if I ever find time to shoot someplace other than my backyard.

I still have 3 OLDER recurves, one I believe is a "Mustang" but not sure who made it, one is a no-name 40# recurve, again maker unknown, the last is a Montgomery-Ward recurve that draws 55# at 28", and it is a pretty decent shooter.

Well I've been shooting recurves since I was able to walk so I've been slinging arrows for 30+ years. Bows that I've owned and hunted with would be 3-Martin Lynx, XI Impact, Windwalker Takedown Recurve. I've been bow hunting for 23 years.

Counting from my first rabbit that was skinned, cleaned, cooked and eaten, I've been hunting for50 years. Been shooting bows longer than that. But I also shot competition and tournament shooters go through some bows. I can only remember 15 compounds, 8 longbows,21 recurves and God only knows how many selfbows. I know I've hadmore than that though. Of that lot, there are 6 I'd love to have back and none of those sixare compounds.

LOL!! Bowhunting 40 years and I've owned between 50 and 60 bows. I remember in 03 I bought1 Mathews, 2- Hoyts, 1 High Country and I also bought my first 2 Bowtechs. I kept them for a couple of months and finally weeded down to one Bowtech. It's been Bowtechs for me ever since, and they have performed as advertised.

PSE Lightning Flite (sold it for $10 profit.... first bow)
Hoyt Ultra-Tec (bought new, sold to my best friend for a song)
Mathews LX (back up and night hunting bow.... bought it new for $200... couldn't pass it up)
HCA Iron Mace (the main squeeze)

And four recurves:
Bear Black Bear (the one I shoot the most)
Bear Kodiak Mag (I think its a Mag)
Ben Pearson.... something (got it for the girlfriend)
Hoyt Pro Hunter (sweetest of the lot... but only 38#s)

Bow hunting since 1978 owned a bear whitetail(used and owned 1 yr) then bought a darton Trailmaster in 1979 used it on/off till 1990. Bought another darton(can't remember the name)in 1990 and in 93 bought a darton mustang. I hunted on/off till 2007 and then purchased a ross 337(06). I just bought an excalibur phoenix x-bow 2 months ago.I presently own 3 bows the Darton Mustang, Ross 337 and my x-bow.

I've been bowhunting for 25yrs and I've owned 25recurves(at least),20 longbows(at least),a couple of selfbows,and maybe 5 compounds.At the moment,I have 4 custom recurves and 4 custom longbows

Hope to add to the stable when the Bowtech Staffers get the 09 models in fall ..Someone will be offerring a fair deal. ;)

Hate to say it but I am 38 years old and a archery addict

I have owned countless bows since I started at 14 --Prob 60-80 compunds and 10-15 recurves

Compounds - I owned Browning, martin,bear, jennings, hoyt, bowtech, matthews, oneida, PSE, high country you name it

Recurves, Martin, hoyt, bear,

But i have slowed down in the last 3 or 4 years Last year I had a Ross cardiac, Hoyt vectrix, Bowtech commander and a Katera XL-- This is when I discovered short ATA bows are not for me -

I currently own 1 bow - The katera XL and looking at a Hoyt X8 or X7

I used to change bows like I changed underwear - but now they are too darn expensive :D

Had a recurve in HS....but never shot it at an animal. Shot lots of pie plates on a red clay hillsdie backstop....but that was about it.

I'll start my season hunting with a Fred Bear Montana Longbow.

Picked up my first compound bow at the age of 40......< 3 yrs ago.

1st bow - '05 Mathews Switchback
2nd Bow - '07 Bowtech Allegiance
3rd Bow - '08 82nd Airborne
4th Bow - (should get today or tomorrow) - '08 Bowtech Constitution
Also have a Guardian that my son shoots........and I use as a backup.

I've been hunting with a bow for < 3 seasons.
