Congrats on the new bow!!!
Don't forget this is a bowhunting forum, don't feel any separation (other than opinions and equipment used) between the Hoyt guys, the Mathews guys, the Bowtech guys, the PSE guys, the Darton Guys, the HCA guys or anyone else. We're all here for the same reason... we love bowhunting.

Well i took my new bow to the pro shop today to get my peep fitted and while i was , the owner said he would chrono my bow to see what speed she was doin .
So after drilling the bullseye on the range ( i have to say the bow feels amazing , very comfortable and quiet ) , we were both surprised to see only 271fps @ 63# draw/weight and 27" draw/length. I hope to improve on this ( even though my arrows were getting buried into the target ) .... but how ??????
My Set-up is :-
G5 Optix ME sight
Lok-a-peep sight ,
limb/driver rest ,
Gold Tip Hunter XT's = 27 1/2" with Quikspin ST speed hunter fletching with 7" wraps and 100grn bullet points .
I have no string silencers on it , because its already quiet .
I'm also planning on switching to Feathers , will this help ?
I know its more than capable of clean kills as it is , butexpected higher than than 271 ?
Idea's please .
