All of this shed hunting has got me thinking about a mess of mushrooms it won't be long. This was from an early trip last year with my daughter.

I've been picking emevery spring for years. They're the easiest to identify,only one other mushroom that's toxic even resembles it, and nothing else comes up in the spring. Go to Morel Mania on the web and it has a lot on info on the subject. BTW they go great with turkey!

mmmm morel's cant wait to get out looking for those and some sheds, last year i made over 200$ selling them to some old people and still had plenty left for me to eat

We found a bunch in KS when tkycaller and I were down last spring, here's a picture I took, they are the easiest to ID.

The only shrooms we find down here in Texas grow in cow poop and you trip on them.
