sent an arrow through an 8 point once while he was standing in a deep ditch, a coworker was there to help with recovery, i showed him where i shot it, there was blood all over the creek bank, he jokingly said you ought to call this place bloodcreek and it stuck. he starting calling mebloodcreek at work for awhile The place has been mined out now, it was a favorite hunting place.
