Default Which vanes or feathers do you use and why ?

I personally use Quikspins ST speed hunters and love'em , but am thinkin about trying blazers . But , what do you use and why ... advantages of your choice .

Been using feathers ever since I started bowhunting, 7 years ago and haven't had a reason to switch yet.

I'm thinkin of changin to 2" blazers, if i fletch with my Bitz with straight clamp... how much offset do i use or do i need another clamp ? . Also , do you use them for 3D too .

I use them for everything. I have them on my ACC's for hunting and 3D. I also fletched them for my 3D arrows. Mind you tho, we cannot shoot Hunter Class with them which is ridiculous tho I've never shot HC.

I wouldn't have quams with using feathers either.

I use a straight clamp with my Bitz and offset them right, offset them hard enough to still allow fletch contact both front and back. Experiment with it on a dry run.

I buy full-length Tru-flite feathers(100/pk) and get 2 4" fletches out of each one then usse a feather burner to get the profile I want.Best feathers on the market
