If the Law says No Then Hell no I dont shoot it! Plain and simple I got little ones who need me more than I need to shoot a deer and get in trouble for it! No deer is worth getting in trouble for. Just my $.02 worth!

And just what are you going to do with this illegal deer, paint it? If it was legal I'd shoot that buck if he was pink or purple. If illegal, well I'd have a hard time doing that. It's just like, would you shoot that big bald eagle. What part of illegal don't you get? Do you obey seasons, bag limits etc?If so why would you make an exception for this deer. What about some gorgeous horse?[&:] I agree it's a stupid law as they are 99 percent genetically inferior and should be taken out.

Yet we have a 30 page "ethics" thread which is nothing more than people attempting to justify doing just that (willingly breaking the law they don't agree with).

"Picking and choosing" which laws we wanna uphold is traveling down the wrong road (IMO).

illegal is illegal and in michigan it would me more than a fine you would lose a couple years of hunting priviledges. sorry couldnt do it. Isnt taking game that is off limits called poaching?

I would shoot it then drive all around town bragging it off. Then I would drive over to the DNR station and turn in the deer, all my equipment, my license for the next three years, and my truck. Then I would get out my check book and ask how much I owed them for the fine.Because thats what would happen anyway once they catch me. Here in Wis they are treated like gods. If someone shoots one I swear they would bring in all theCSI people from 4 states to track them down. So I guess after further consideraion I just might have to let him walk.

No. If it's Illegal I wouldn't do it. If it's legal hell yeah I would do it. Why would states make it Illegal? It's encouraging a white species/ albino deer. I feel a white deer or albino deer (different things) would be cool to have around on a property, but why treat them like they are gods? It just doesn't sound like correct management.

Actually you know what, thoughI wouldn't kill an albino deer(mainly 'cause I don't like jail)there are laws I disagree with too and break them just because I don't agree with them. For instance when the sign on the freeway says "speed limit 55" I often times speed up even if I'm doing 55 or less just so I don't feel like anyone's telling me how to live my life.

lucky for me there is no law against shooting any type of piebald or albino deer in jersey. so if it in range i would stick it, but i would never shoot it illegally even though letting it walk away even though with that rack and hide it would kill me

If he wants to break the law, then help him understand theconsequences,if your true intentions are toeducate and improve the sport. to be honest if i hunted in a state whereit was illegal, and had the 1 in a billion chance of shooting a true albino with pink eyes and pink nose i would still totaly do it no matter what anyone says. If it was a country wide ban i would consider not doing it.

Come on man, that's like saying if you saw a world record in the dark... you'd shoot it. There's probably a better chance that you'd see an albino than a WR deer. Illegal is illegal, regardless of the reasoning. There isn't a moral or ethical dilemma either...
