Default Thanks RJ and Rob...

Well after days of research, asking Matt (Rick James) and Rob loads of questions concerning thumb releases, their advantages, etc, I have an almost new Tru Ball ST-3 on its way. I wanted to get a release that had a very crisp trigger since I plan to do blank bale drills with this to get the feel of proper tension release, and I needed a release with a good sized handle, plus I didn't want to pay full price for a carter, so I found a nice barely used ST-3 on the "other site" for a good deal, and scooped it up. I want to publicly thank both Rob and Matt for taking the time to answer all of my questions, especially since some of them were fairly broad questions, you guys were a big help. Rob even offered to help coach me some, but I don't think he knows what he's getting into Great group we have here on HNI, I'm sure you guys know that, but I thought I would reinforce it

Glad you like the release Matt. It's a fantastic option and should server you well.

Matt H, no problem. You have my number for when your sting and cables come in. We'll put her together and tweak her, a few lessons on the new release and you'll be set.
