It sports the latest paint job available for the Osprey.Stainless steelhardware. Almost too pretty. I predict it will have a few hundred 'harvests' to it's credit by the end of April. (it will probably a bit less pretty by then..." />

Beautiful bow! I owned 3 Oneidas at one time or another, always thought about trying a Black Eagle.

You know, I just keep getting all these Christines mixed up. HNI Christine, Christine B... I think I'm talking about one and I'm responding to the other. God I hate getting old.[8D]

Getting your girlfriends mixed up again David?

Tried shooting the bow today with flu-flus. (supposed to pheasant hunt with it in a couple weeks.... on camera [][]) Can't get feather clearance with the epoxy rest. It's a dedicated fish arrow rest. Hmmm... got to figure out some way around that. [:-]

Anyhow, check out how much smaller it is than my old bowfishing rig. It's waaaaay lighter too.

Are those as good as the more common compounds that are selling these days?

That is a nice looking bow btw!

I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a bow. As far as bowfishing goes, most serious bowfishers consider the Oneida Ospreyto be the 'best'. It's light, hasa good range of draw weight, fires a heavy arrow hard and can be easily snap shot. It's also very tough.

Hoyt makes a bowfishing bow, Browning makes a bowfishing bow, Mathews makes a bowfishing bow, Pearson makes a bowfishing bow, PSE makes a bowfishing bow, etc.. Strangely, Bowtech doesn't make one.
Maybe they don't think they can make a better bow than Oneida does.

Now, for hunting.. I hear the Oneida Black Eagles are pretty nice but I'll stick with my BT equalizer.
