Sometimes spending every single day in the woods will not always lead to you harvesting an animal. Sometimes being in the right place at the right time is just as good as putting all those hours on stand.

I'd second this for me since I found myself logging some serious hours this year (more than any year before). I saw deer 95% of the sits, one doe harvest, but ZERO shot opps on a legal buck. Really odd year for me, and it has me rethinking some of my tactics. To go along with that, I need to plan entry/exit routes better, and resist the urge to hunt a "good" spot that doesn't have a good entry and exit route. Wait...was that more than one thing?

When you have to wear the litttle plastic tag during the managed hunts, put it on your hat so it doesn't go "booiiing" when you draw back [:'(]

To not rush my shots......my worst year my bowhunting career was last year....maybe it's because I was shooting a Mathews. I am getting a bowtech in a couple weeks here. Hopefully that helps!

But I learned not to rush my shots and just take my time more.
